About Hamilton County Home Owners for Responsible STVR Regulations

The Problem:

The unincorporated areas of Hamilton County lack the same protections enjoyed by neighboring municipalities. Our rights have been quietly stripped away, leaving us voiceless in decisions that impact our neighborhoods. Short-term vacation rentals have been introduced without our knowledge, turning residential areas into commercial zones, and endangering the tranquility we cherish. where members can connect, learn, and grow together.

The Impact:

STVRs have a negative impact on our neighborhoods. These rentals attract frequent turnovers, bringing unfamiliar faces, noise, and traffic. Our streets, once safe for children and pets, have become unsafe and inconvenient. Furthermore, studies have shown that neighborhoods with vacation rentals experience increased crime rates, ranging from theft and property damage to drug production and even human trafficking.

Why You Should Care:

Your home is more than just a house—it's your sanctuary and the largest investment of your life. We understand the importance of feeling safe, comfortable, and excited to come back to your neighborhood every day. Unfortunately, the influx of STVRs brings constant disruptions, as renters prioritize their vacation experience over the peace of our community.

Take Action Now:

Sign the petition and join us in restoring the peace, safety, and tranquility of our neighborhoods. Call and Email the Chair and STVR Co-chairs and Share with your neighbors. Together, we can protect our homes, preserve our community, and ensure a brighter future for all.
